Reopen a closed job
Closed a job too soon, or the customer came back with more work? Reopen the job in one click and pick up where you left off.
Closed jobs used to be a one-way door. If a customer called back two weeks later asking for one more visit, you had to spin up a new job and lose the history. Now you can reopen.
What changed
- A Reopen button on the closed-job detail page brings the job back to its previous status.
- The reopened-at timestamp is recorded so your audit trail stays intact.
- You keep all the existing line items, visits, photos, and notes. Add new visits and continue invoicing as normal.
When to use it
- The customer wants more of the same work and you want it grouped under the original job.
- You closed the job by mistake.
- A warranty or callback visit needs to be tied back to the original work.
