Clients can pay by cash, cheque, or e-transfer from the Client Hub
Not every customer wants to pay with a credit card. The Client Hub now accepts cash, e-transfer, and cheque as offline payment options on open invoices.
The Client Hub used to require a card to mark an invoice paid. Plenty of businesses get paid by e-transfer or a cheque in the mail, and the experience has caught up.
What changed
- The pay screen on an open invoice now shows offline options (cash, cheque, e-transfer) alongside the card option.
- Clients pick how they paid and the invoice records the payment as pending verification.
- You see the recorded payment on your end and can confirm or void it from the invoice page.
When it applies
Offline payment methods are off by default. Turn on the ones you accept from Settings, and only those will be offered to clients in the Hub.
Why it matters
Faster reconciliation. Instead of getting an e-transfer notification and a separate "did you get it?" text, the client tells you it's on the way and your invoice already shows it pending.
